The thing about earned media is that it is never a given. We can't make reporters use your content. But what we can guarantee is that we'll stay on top of news, trends and opportunities in your industry and work hard to get at least 5 media mentions for you in 2024 or work for free in 2025 until we do. Media coverage may be on podcast interviews, in local award submissions, media mentions, expert commentary, contributed articles, etc.
A couple FAQs answered
After sign-up, I'll send over a questionnaire to get to know you, your business and your goals for the year. We'll then schedule a kick-off call to go over inputs and start the process of positioning you as an expert. Our first order of business will be the development of your media toolkit: bio, LinkedIn optimization, key message track and media goals. We'll also set up a one hour media training + interview prep/practice and start pitching you for expert opportunities, awards, and more. We'll be in touch on a regular basis to coordinate opportunities and quotes and we'll have a monthly call to update pitch angles, placements, etc.
How does this work?
Earned media is a partner process. You have to be responsive to opportunities (within 12 hours!) and available for interviews (and show up for them no matter what). As the expert, you will answer reporter questions, write content and provide quotes for opportunities. I will be there to provide guidance, editing and follow-up as needed.
what do I have to do?
If you'd like to sign up after our Discovery Call, I'll invoice you for the first two months ($2500). You can pay via ACH, Zelle, Check. Payments are due the 1st of every month beginning in month 3. There are no refunds for the program but you can cancel at anytime.
